So I want to get a mobile broadband internet, I play online poker alot (about 20 hours a week) and check emails. Thats about it for internet use. but I am not sure if using the online poker software uses up kilabites (or megabites, space or whatever it is you call it). The mobile broadband says you can get like 1G or 2G or upto 5G.

If all i do is download the program onto my laptop (20M) and only use it and nothing else. would 5G be enough? or would even 1 or 2 gig be enough? … really have no idea here guys! :)

The only bandwidth you really use is the status checking and update downloading. There is a reaction time for scripts as well, but that’s not bandwidth related. It’s really not much use.

Even "slow" cable holds its own here.

You’re actually going to need a lot of RAM if you plan on running multiple windows of action. I’m priming for 6-8, and a friend of mine makes good on 15!
