Poker Software Tools

Have bought a new laptop with windows 7. Can download poker software and get to login screen but when you login there is a wait followed by message "cannot connect to poker server". Happens on all poker sites using playtech software. In other respects internet access seems OK. Any ideas

i have icons on my desktop from software i have downloaded but no longer use like game and poker software can i get the off my hard drive no i can get rig of the program from control pannel but the install icon still remains and if i just remove from desktop they still stay [...]

I’ve found numerous chinese netbooks on ebay for around 100 dollars. I was wondering if this is actually a legit netbook and run softwares downloaded online. I want to download an online poker software and play using the netbook. Will this be possible? Or Will I get ripped off ?
