My hair isn’t poker straight, but it isn’t super wavy either. I Unless I use a flat iron or curling iron, it gets really frizzy after a few minutes. I’m so tired of damaging my hair everyday with heating tools, but it’s the only way to smooth it out.

Will a diffuser bring out the waves in my hair without making it frizzy, or are they only good for people with curly hair?

Diffusers work well for waves or curls…..the difference between the dryer and diffuser is the diffuser keeps the hair in place while the dryer blows the hair all over. The only way you will find out how tour hair reacts to the diffuser is by using it. Borrow one before you buy one to see if you like the results

try it.. its for curls and waves, just maybe on a low setting.. if that doesnt work try aveda smoothing fluid (i swear by it) to defrizz and define your waves, or use a heat protectant spray

A diffuser will work only if you combine it with other products like mouse or frizz reducing creme. diffuser is less damaging than a blow dryer but it also takes a long time.
